Oh and this line really made me giggle:
"The producers of the Wii version revealed to Famitsu that one of their goals is to allow families who play the Wii together to experience Resident Evil. The game will include "Easy" and "Amateur" difficulty settings, selectable from the start, that will make aiming easier and keep your life from depleting too fast."
Putting an easy mode so the whole family can play? Isn't this an M-Rated game with tons of gore, horror and inappropriate content for minors and unappealing content for other family members? Heck, Nintendo might be taking the whole "family" thing (which I think is downright ridiculous) too far.
Sorry I just realized this is already in another thread :o
A "family" doesn't have to include little children or teens. Most families in America are dysfunctional, but many grown-up and partially grown-up families do more together than just maintaining contact. A "family" could be three grown brothers who play RE4 with their stoned widow grandmother fighting cancer who happens to love over the top horror flicks such as Peter Jackson's "Dead Alive". :P

Hi all,
Just incase anyone stumbles across this thread when they are having similar issues I wanted to post an update.
It sounds so simple but I think my wake issues may have actually just been down to weak batteries in my keyboard.
After 10.6.7 some people were reporting that they were getting the wrong battery life metering for wireless devices. Some people had their power levels stuck at 100% even though the batteries had previously been showing 50% depletion before updating to 10.6.7
My keyboard was showing 46% yesterday but I thought to eliminate the possibility of the mac pro waking due to a lost keyboard connection due to weak batteries, I changed them out for fresh batteries.
My mac went to sleep last night and slept the whole night, until I woke it this morning.
I'll try it again later but I'm pretty certain that's all it was.
Oh well, at least I've got a freshly installed OS and clean running machine now, even though all I actually needed to do was swap some batteries! :)

That's really the beauty of google voice, once you transisition to it you never have to worry about changing numbers again or giving people different numbers. You do have to make that initial transition and give all your contacts a new number BUT it's the last one you will have to hive them.
Does this provide a seamless way to transition from texting on my iPhone to texting on the iPad and vice versa? I wouldn't even dream of switching numbers unless the experience of sending and receiving texts was better than just using my phone.

The iPhone 4 was a failure at launch. The antenna is broken. It drops Internet connections and calls if held a certain. The glass claiming to be strong is weak sauce and the only good things on the phone are the cameras and screen.*
Am I the only one who feels this way?
If you are an iPhone 4 owner, then yes I think you are the only one who feels this way. Or maybe you bought a lemon.

I was in the same boat, but I ended up buying a sleeve instead. I would think hard cases are beneficial if you travel a lot. I personally really like the Be.ez La Robe sleeve. The zippers are completely covered from scratching the MBP.
I am considering buying Be.ez Le Reporter messenger bag as well, but I can't seem to find any reviews.

Hi,
Yeah, the credit is the points - in this case 481 points.
However, these WU (and all the other SMP core_A3 and core_A5 ones) also qualify for Quick Return Bonus Points.
Basically, there is a sliding scale that rewards quick return with more points. This is done to encourage people to just run one client quickly, rather than multiple ones more slowly.
However, to qualify for these bonus points (that are often worth 10 times the base points), you'll need a passkey - see here:
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1073565
You can calculate how many points you expect to receive here:

Hope that helps

The thing's toast now, keeps telling me that I don't have video in but it still runs audio in perfectly and the built in speakers no longer work.
Thanks for the help everyone, when I hit 250 posts I'll put this in the Marketplace and see if anyone wants it for parts or repair.

It works on my iPad 2. It shows the Netflix red screen on my iPad and then the stream on my TV with the audio coming from my TV. I don't have to do anything special aside from plug the cables in and we're good to go. I don't have any additional display apps on my iPad.

I was just giving you a hard time, it's the nature of my personality. ;)
Not a problem,
I have to say that my girls are SO excited to head to Disney world. They were 3 the last time we went and they had fun then. Now that they're 5 they are climbing the walls waiting to go. This vacation is for them pure and simple and I'll have so much fun watching them enjoy themselves.

Dfu mode restore didn't work either. Usually it will come back responsive after some time which makes me think it is a background task that is killing the iPad.
Also after the dfu restore the NoteTakerHD ink mode was definitely much more responsive.

If you have dreamweaver, you can try using their library functions. It allows you linked any tables, texts, layers to a library item so when you update that library item, every page that uses that item gets updated. Same goes for their template.

Personally I find that I can type much faster and more comfortably on a shallow keyboard like a PowerBook keyboard than on a deep keyboard (like an old original IBM keyboard). I have one of the classic IBM style keyboards hooked up to my PC, and I don't like it much. If I were going to buy a new keyboard, I'd go for something like the Icekey.

Thanks all. Pic #1 is actually a sunrise. First one I'd seen in awhile :D. I think I'm just going to stick to this being a hobby. I use Aperture3 for my library, and I'll definitely play around with the post-processing features. Didn't use them for any of the posted photos. Thanks for all the advice!
