Maybe I'll go, I am not sure though, depends what I am doing.
And West Farms technically is in Farmington, not West Hartford. I know it gets confusing- West Hartford, Farmington, and New Britain. Kinda like that blur of Simsbury, Canton, and Avon.

Email can be a pain.... your other account could be trashing it, who knows... try to get as simple and basic as you can with your testing. I also use phpmailer you might want to look into that. Good luck.

Not being to familiar with the console I've been using InCrease that works really fast and stays in the background. It even keeps running after I log out at the end of the day (at work) or night (at home) I just recently installed it on my new G5 X-serve (dual 2.3 ghz 520gb mirrored drives with 4gb RAM) and it's doing 50-60point GROMACs in about 7 to 8 hours each, well 2 at a time so I'm crunching about 100 points in 8 hours with it.

I don't mean to sound rude, but the problem isn't that OSX doesn't allow control, the problem is that you're not a knowledgeable user. There is no way to get Windows to run at full speed (or even decent speed) on a Mac, and there is no reason to use Apple hardware if you aren't paying the extra money for OSX.

get ready to wait awhile. I ordered a 27 imac the day they were available. shipping time is jun 15th arrive jun 22nd.

There is a specific service manual for each Mac, including the 11-inch Air.
Surprisingly for me, the 11" and the 13" have different bottom screw assembly orders! Thanks for pointing that out!

I know. Back when the movie 'Anchorman' came out, I got free passes to a sneak peak at the Arlington Cinema & Draft. Traffic was (as usual) crappy to get there and we were running in at the last second when I got stopped by a rent a cop telling me I couldn't bring my crappy old flip phone.
I said, "What do you think I'm going to do with it? Make a bootleg video with a phone that doesn't record video?"
The guy says, "Well, you know the lingo!"
I said, "I know the lingo because I'm not a moron! It would be impossible for my phone to capture even 1 frame per second."
The guy then threatened me so we left and have never returned to that place. I hate rent a cops with a passion...

How does the Mac Mini handle itself when being used directly with a large TV?
I have a 1080p TV, 46" and plan to use it as a computer to show people how to use iPhoto and iMovie and such. I had my MacBook Air hooked up, and it worked fine as a second monitor but there was minor lag at times. When the Air was hooked up to my Apple 24" LED there is no lag at all so I was wondering if the screen size has anything to do with it.
Does the Mini handle this situation well? I am currently waiting for the refresh, but wanted some opinions in case this has been an issue or not.

AFAIK in a TB daisy chain the monitor must be the last....
EDIT: i was wrong.
Existing monitors with MDP will work in a TB daisy chain if used as the last peripheral. New monitors that will probably have TB ports can be used also in the middle of a chain or as a HUB....

The primary weakness of any computer is not the OS being used, but the user. Prudent computer users can't simply install some anti-virus app and think they're protected against any threat. Anti-virus isn't the solution. A Mac user who is aware of what kinds of malware exist and what kind of behaviors expose them to risk can operate malware-free without the need for anti-virus software.

You might also try the free osx usb webcam driver. There is a list of supported cams hereclick here (http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/)

If Apple does decide to release a 30� display, it would more then likely be aimed at the video or research markets, instead of the consumer market!!
