@TheMacMaster - I think you'll have to get a SL retail disc, its only $29 - then boot from that to do the disc repair.
In future, try not to hijack threads though, it makes things confusing, just start your own, it doesn't matter if you think you've got the same issue (because in fact, you might not.)

4.3.1 didn't bring much but 4.3 brought improvements on AirPlay, safar, added home sharing options, iPad slider switch option, and added the hotspot feature.

The slide switch is what has me itching to upgrade. But it has taken me a long time to get things back like I had it on 3.2 when I finally upped to 4.2.1.
Hotspot may also be necessary if ATT continues to crack down on those os use Mify on 4.2.1. Is there any substance to the rumor that they can't really isolate those using MyFi on 4.3.1?

I can't comment on the HD650 with a macbook pro personally, as I do not exactly have one. Of the few times I've tried it out, it was at a friend's and at local music stores. I'm an audio technica kind of guy, so I tend to stick to their products. I know the lower impedance audio techncia cans sound pretty good on my brother's macbook pro and my iMac via their intel hd integrated card and headphone jack.Well, thanks for the posts. I am a bit surprised how quiet this subform seems to be, I was hoping for a wider range of opinions. Or, do I just need a shower?

Spymac's been a joke ever since they added the 1GB email. The community's almost evaporated since then, and it's being kept alive by a few trolly spammers.
It's amusing that they initially launched their products as an exclusive range, but now they're more than likely overstocked with a pile of overpriced stuff, the prices are affordable.
The Spymac appreciated by so many disappeared a good while ago. The eventual demise will not be past time.

Hi, I want to put some CD's that I purchased on my iTunes to put on my iPod. The only problem is that I am getting a new laptop soon, my BlackBook is dyeing.)))): Well, so far I have bought all my music on iTunes, but it's so expensive. I bought many CD's like I said, and I'm putting them on iTunes. When I plug the iPod into a new computer, it would ask me if I wanted to transfer my purchases. And everything that I bought would transfer. The songs that I got from other websites wouldn't transfer. But If I import the CD's through iTunes, will it still transfer to the new computer? Or do they have to be bought from iTunes?

If you have an external hard drive just move the files from one computer to another, it's pretty easy if you do it that way. To be honest, I don't think the hackers are trying to unlock the newer basebands. Sherif said in December that there would be an unlock for 3.10 Baseband in Mid January, but obviously that hasn't happened. I am very doubtful they will unlock anything after 1.59.00 before the next iPhone is released (iPhone 5).

ok i was wrong with os 8 but .... if i read that info of the museums site right it really was a macintosh in the wrong market and it could be used to access the world wide web , and surprise it could be connected to a television like the mini today , had this been marketed right as a mini macintosh with a harddrive and more ram it could have been the grandfather of the mini , so it was a product in the wrong market no wonder it didn't sell

This is probably the best newsreader.I "had" a paid license.It now seems that newsgator has removed the side panel that listed all kinds of great feeds.

The other thing that comes to mind is if you have a boot floppy you can stick that in and boot it from that, rather than the internal HD
