That's great, but I imagine that could change (assuming someone can build an android tablet cheaper than the iPad :D)

So Samsung believed Apple was violating it's patents all this time but decided to do nothing about it. Now that they have been pushed they decide to act. Sounds to me they are trying to find whatever they can to bite back at Apple.
NO. This is how it works in the world of corporate business.
Company A has a patent (or more) that Co. B wants. B uses A's patents without consent. A waits. A finds a patent B has that they want. A uses B's patents without consent. Then A sues B or vice-verse. The two co. get together and work out a licensing deal. Profit.

I wanted very much to buy an iPad 2. But after seeing the dismal display and camera quality in person, and the fact that it didn't offer anything new or exciting over the iPad 1, I decided to wait for the Android tablets to hit in force and compare them to iPad 3.
What is the reasoning behind this attitude? Is this just a toy purchase? How can you have a "need" for a device that apparently doesn't exist? And then, what happens with your needs until then?
I can just see the people on this forum, if they had been alive in 1975:
"I need a phone that I can carry with me all the time. Nobody makes one! Guess I'll just never call anybody for the next 10 years."

My 2007 MacPro 2,1 could use a boost also. Sadly it would make sense to replace it with a 27'' iMac with these new 3.4Ghz SandyBridge chip whenever it comes out. I can't really justify buying a 12 core machine just for Folding...

thats an intense background and i really like the dock icons but how do you know which is which? and where did you get them?
I just associated each one to an app and memorized it. They are slightly modified versions of these icons here (http://davidchen.deviantart.com/art/Etom-Project-White-65264754).

The CSS3 resizer property is fine and good because you can set resizer:none to a form element if you want to. As a side note, resizer applies to all elements, including html, meaning a site could prevent you from resizing the browser window. That has the potential to be very annoying if abused, as I'm sure it will be. Right now, I don't think any of the main 5 or 6 browsers support this propery for any element.
What worries me is if Safari is implementing this feature using built-in DOM functions instead of just supporting the CSS3 property. This is a possibility to me. They've got quite a ways to go in terms of the standard right now.
no, it's CSS3 download the nightly then visit this site. http://www.css3.info/preview/resize.html

Android and the fact at least in my area is that Verizon is going LTE, Apple's not putting out an LTE model till next year. Also with Verizon in our area there too busy dealing with FiOS which has been a disaster and upgrading there network.
With that said I have more confidence in Verizon bringing on faster speeds that AT&T.
To buy or not to buy the white iPhone 4 or stay with the 3G, Hmmmmmm:rolleyes:

Does anyone else think this is a desperate attempt by Adobe to stay in the tablet game? ...
mmmm... no, only you.
Why is it that every Adobe story on MR prompts the inevitable "Look how desperate Adobe is..." comment?
Why would you NOT be happy they're taking the iPad seriously, and building a useful* app for it?
*useful to the casual Photoshop user, rather than the professional, who needs the control only a mouse offers

Sorry... they don't sit in a room and strategize on how to mess with Jail Breakers. Sorry... they don't. They are just trying to address some bugs in the current release and that's a good thing.
Yes... it will probably break the JB... but that is your risk and your decision to JB. So, yes... my original post stands.
LOL that's such an immature comment from yourself.
Of COURSE they are trying to patch up the Jailbreak holes found by the JB community....
Sure they have bug fixes, but rarely will they go "to fix a security hole that allows users to jailbreak"
so no, it's not "PROBABLY" break the JB.... is: it WILL.
He was stating a fact.
