Can they PLEASE, PLEASE make it downloadable so I can watch it on my Apple TV?
Everytime a keynote comes around, I end up poking around iTunes, etc, thinking there HAS to be a way to get this thing on my Apple TV, without some cheesy real-time stream capture program.
How hard is it to post the H.264 file to iTunes?

I just called the post office and they said ~$8 to 10 US to ship it First Class international, so you can sortof figure that into the price.
[below does not imply anything about fpar above, I thought I'd just be upfront about this since international shipping is being discussed]
Also, for any international lurkers in the thread, I'm not interested in marking the item in a way to dodge customs--you'll have to work that out yourself. I don't know if that applies for First Class International, but I thought I should just say that outright.

Looks great. Remember who you are showing it to. While I liked the music, I could absolutely see how it could turn off some Agency people. Tone it down.
I have to disagree i don't think its too invasive and works very well with the tone of the imagery.... i have seen reels with alot worse choices in music... my own is a prime example... :D
Also you can see that the reel has been cut using the track at certain parts... so changing it would require re-editing the whole sequence.

I also have the 250 GB D2 - excellent drive. I'd look at the specs on Lacie's website for the difference between the drives. I think the Porsche might be a tad slower.

remove the cube from its shell
place a sticky note where the power switch would be on the inside of the shell
replace the cube in its shell

Working off the server is just fine, and shouldn't be a performance problem with just four users on the mini. Be sure that any temporary files are being created locally.

I think the faster HDD will make a big difference.
I have a Powermac with 933 mhz, 1 Gb ram, and a 7200 rpm drive, and a iBook with 1.33 ghz, 1.5 Gb ram, and a 4200 rpm hard drive. They both have a fresh install of Leopard. The Powermac is faster at everything, even though it has a slower processor, and 1/3 less ram.
If your iBook has 512 ram built in, you can expand it to 1.5 Gb. If it has 256 built in, you can expand it to 1.25 Gb. Either way, you could put a 1 Gb stick in it.
I have mactubes installed, and they both play youtube videos very good.

Hi, I want to put some CD's that I purchased on my iTunes to put on my iPod. The only problem is that I am getting a new laptop soon, my BlackBook is dyeing.)))): Well, so far I have bought all my music on iTunes, but it's so expensive. I bought many CD's like I said, and I'm putting them on iTunes. When I plug the iPod into a new computer, it would ask me if I wanted to transfer my purchases. And everything that I bought would transfer. The songs that I got from other websites wouldn't transfer. But If I import the CD's through iTunes, will it still transfer to the new computer? Or do they have to be bought from iTunes?

If you have an external hard drive just move the files from one computer to another, it's pretty easy if you do it that way. do u notice the difference of 2gb of ram in your day to day activites, such as powering on, or running multible programs at once? or is the 2gb not even utilized until you edit videos n stuff? and it has to feel a little silly in a lecture when u have a huge screen in front of you.

yeah dude, iphones are locked to ATT or Verizon. U can get a factory unlocked but they are expensive. Gevey SIM is your best bet if you wanna unlock an iP4.
U can probably get a plan from T-mo for 500 min voice/200MB data for like 45 bucks. For texting u can use Google voice app.

I think WWDC or a Apple iOS Event Preview (so 2011), Apple will likely make sure they get it right and release that along with the new iOS 5 or Mac OS X 10.7.
Apple is in no rush to hurry something as important as this. A buggy IDE = Fail for Apple and a slow down in iPad iPhone iTouch and Mac Apps.
You are quite mistake, this second preview is near feature complete. It needs some polishing, but for the most part it's nearly ready to be shipped.

I am thinking about driving home next weekend from school so it's possible that I might attend the Leopard launch in Wellington. My parents live in Royal Palm Beach so it's not far. If I drive home, I'll come back and update my status so we can meet up there.
